He loves the ahi tuna. What is the fat content? Is it considered low or high? We’re having a hard time getting him to eat what he’s supposed to eat… Also, I have yet to find an easily digestible hard food he’ll eat… Tried your deboned chicken and egg… Still a no… Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out! To retain freshness, we do recommend leaving opened food out for 2-3 hours. Once the can is opened, it will remain fresh in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

He does not like his food refrigerated. I keep the unserved portion in the can covered at room temp in a cupboard for the length of the day (about 8 to 10 hours). Is that OK?

When we got him he only had been fed dry and didn’t recognize canned as food. I tried many different types of canned and packaged wet food to supplement with dry but no luck until the Tiki Ahi Tuna. He gobbles it up every morning!! What a relief!

Hi! There will be slight changes to the vitamin and mineral order, however the overall formula will remain the same. Please email us at mail@tikipets.com if you have any other questions!

Hi! Since 2005, We have strictly followed Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program guidelines for Food Safety and Sustainability. Tuna is caught by short line trawlers, catching Tuna that provides a zero ppm of mercury when tested due to their young age. Our Tuna is only sourced out of the South Pacific waters to provide the healthiest option and least pollution exposure.

Hi! Our Ahi Tuna formula is not discontinued, however we have reformulated some formulas and changed the packaging. Rest assured, the over all formulas and taste will be the same and we know your kitty will love them!

He loves the Ahi Tuna Hawaiian Grill recipe. I can’t find it at my local store or on your website. Would you be willing to bring it back? As you know, cats don’t like change. Mine is no exception to this.

Hi! This is a source of vitamin k in our food that is required by AAFCO to make a food complete and balanced for cats.
